~Summer~

Well, it is finally beginning to really feel like summer around here. The last few days have been getting really warm and we have been loving every minute of it. Keira was finally able to set up her swimming pool and the kids played in it all day.

The water was super cold and Kelsey's cute little chin was just shivering away. But there was no way I could have got her out of the pool. She loved it. She thought that it was really fun to splash Kaiden & Keira. She would throw the water at them and giggle. TOO CUTE!!

Kaiden thought that it was really cool how the ball would pop out of the water. And continued to do it until it hit him in the face one time. *OUCH*!

Keira didn't stayed in the water too long. She would jump in and get wet and then jump back out and go and play on the swing set for a while and then do it all over again. She gets cold so easy and the cold water was just too much for her. But the heat would get the best of her and she would be right back in cooling off.

A couple of nights ago we all went fishing. It was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed it and are begging to go again. It was so nice to be able to spend some family time together. It seems like anytime we are doing something as a family we always have other families with us too. Not that that is a bad thing but it was SO nice to have it just be our family.

Keira ended up catching two fish and Eric ended up catching two fish. One of Eric's was a great big nasty sucker!! EEEWWWW! It was so gross. Those things are the ugliest fish that I have ever seen.

Here is Kelsey checking out Daddy's fish. She wanted nothing to do with the fish. In fact it I tried to get her too close to one she freaked out. She would start screaming and throwing a fit. She stayed as far away as possible.

Look how cute my boys are. Kaiden had such a fun time even though he didn't catch any. He even mentioned that he had fun even though Shawn & Ryan (cousins) weren't there. (Now, that is saying a lot) He loves his cousins and is always wanting them to some and do stuff with us.

Here is Keira with her first fish. She was so excited!! I was so proud of her for catching those fish. She wanted to catch one sooo bad and when she did you could just see her light up. She wanted that fish off of the hook right away so that she could hurry and try to catch another one.

She was trying to compare hers and daddy's fish. To see which one was bigger. She finally decided that daddy's was bigger but hers had more pink on it so it worked out great.

The kids could not wait to get home so that we could fry them up!! And it think it took all of 3 seconds before every last crumb of fish was gone. And they were wanting more. Well, they will just have to wait until next time!!
