Somehow you find a friend!

Keira and Raynee are really good friends. They LOVE to spend time together, when they can, (I'm not so great about playdates during the school year) and they usually end up singing at one point or another.

One day Keira informed me that her and Raynee sing to the kids on the bus on the way home. I asked her what they thought and she said "Well, they must like it because they just sit and smile at us!" Hahaha! "I'm sure they do, Keira"

Here is a video of Keira and Raynee singing a song from one of their favorite Barbie movies!

Way cute hu!!!

I'm so glad that Keira could find such a great friend that does not judge her because she looks different than everyone else.  In fact I think most of the time Raynee forgets just like the rest of us!

Thank you Raynee!

Love these girls!!!

~Gymnastics~

Kaiden and Keira have been taking gymnastics this fall and they both really enjoy it.

Keira has taken dance in the past and this year decided to do gymnastics.  I think she is liking it better than dance.  She is doing really well and LOVES going.  And this girl is built for gymnastics.

Doesn't she just look like an athlete??
Seriously, look at the muscles in those legs and arms!!!!

Kaiden has been begging to go to gymnastics for like 3 years now.  I really struggled with it because I wasn't really such how 'manly' it would be for my boy to go to gymnastics.  And then this year they started an all boys class.  I decided to go ahead and give in and sign him up and I am so glad that I did.  He loves it.  He has so much fun.  And will the other 10 or so boys in his class he has some friends at school that do gymnastics too.

Not sure what this face is about.  Must be his strong man face.  Hehehe!!

I believe that gymnastics (or any sport for that matter) helps with self confidence, self esteem, exercise, discipline and so much more.  I love that my kids are getting involved in things that they love and I love that they want to do it.  It is not something that I am making them do or forcing them into.  Not once have they ever complained about going in fact they are really bummed when they don't get to go.

Now if I could just talk my mom into opening a gym and teaching gymnastics it could possibly save me a lot of money...(hint, hint, mom!!!)

~Sand Dune Trip~

This fall we took a family trip to the sand dunes!!
The kids had a blast playing in the sand!!

Eric had fun racing all of his brothers and friends!  See the gray shirt on the top?  Yep, that's him!

Hahaha!  This picture cracks me up!!
My honey!!

This picture reminds me of a story that Kaiden told me......  Do you know how the sand dunes were made???  Well Kaiden does.  He told me that a very long time ago their were giant people living on the earth.  And one day one of the giant kids took off his shoe and dumped out the sand and that is how the sand dunes were made!!  HEHEHE!  He honestly argued with me for about a half an hour about the story being true!!  FUNNY!
Eric jumping!!
This has to be one of the cutest things ever!!

Kaiden's turn!!!
Keira's turn!!!
Kelsey kept to the four wheeler.  Eric scared her pretty good last time we came to the dunes.  She didn't want anything to do with his bike!!
After we were done on the sand we went and played in the water!!

It's not very deep.  As you can see!  You could probably walk across the entire pond.

Kaiden thought it would be fun to kick water on his dad!!
You better watch out!!!  When you kick water on your dad!!

This is what happens!!

He kept a safe distance after that!
What a fun and great couple of days!!

The sunsets on the way home were amazing!!  I wish I was better at taking pictures because these pictures don't do it justice.
