~Royal Wedding~

Yes, I most certainly did!!! I woke up at 1:50 AM on Friday morning to watch a Royal Wedding!! I mean seriously how many times do you get to see a normal everyday girl get to live out every girls fantasy of marrying a Prince and become a PRINCESS!!! I was elegant, beautiful & perfect. And yes I did cry. I am a sucker for romance.

Kate (why is it not spelled Cate?) was beautiful!! She seemed to just glow the entire time.
The dress was beautiful and so was her sister, Pippa!
I mean really look at her!! Who wouldn't want to look like her? I know I would.
And that dress!!! WOW!!!
This is when I started to cry! He was so sweet! And they both TRULY looked happy! What a proud father he must be!
Ahhh!! LOVED IT!!! (and that cute little girl!)
The Dutch & Duchess of Cambridge. Not really sure what that means but it sounds amazing!!
Way cute!!
Check out that family Picture!!
And then there was the cake!!! 21 tiers!!!
It was so fun to watch!! I loved every minute of it! It also worked out really good that Eric was gone for the weekend motorbiking so that I could be my sappy self and not have to worry about disturbing anyone!!!

Congratulations William & Catherine!!! Now, when do we get to see those cute little prince & princess babies????

~Major Changes~

*sigh*

I feel like I can breath!!!

Eric left for a few days to go on a High Adventure with the Scouts (pictures to come soon) and it seems like I always do something major while he is gone. I am not sure why.. I guess because I don't feel like I have any type of schedule or have to have the house cleaned up by a certain time or dinner on the table. A couple of years ago I re-arranged my bedroom (ugg that was a tough one) bed, dressers, everything. Last year I had 7 new trees planted in the yard (that was a lot less work for me). I really didn't have anything planned this year but at the last minuted decided that it was time to move my computer desk.

For those of you who have ever been to my tiny little house you would have noticed my complete disaster of a desk that has sat in our entry/living room for the last 4 years. I finally decided that it was time to go.

So that is what we did. Here are a few pictures that I could find of before. I always tried to make sure that the desk was not in pictures because it was always such a mess so these are the only ones that I could find. But I think you can get the idea.

Between Me, Kaiden & Keira (holy moly talk about a lot of work) we got it moved into the "Freezer Room". Why do we call it that you ask?? Well because we got a big chest freezer and had no where to put it so it went into our extra bedroom. See that white thing right next to my desk?? Yep, that's the freezer. Kaiden kept telling me that we were again doing a man job! That kid makes me laugh!

And now I have an "Office". Everything is out of the way. It is still a work in progress and things are not put quite where they need to be yet but, it is so nice.
Check out the entry/living room now.
HUGE difference!!!
I can not believe how nice it is. I never realized all of the stress it added to me having the desk right in the middle of our house. Every time I turned around my work was there. There were things that I knew needed done and thing that I felt like I needed to do. Don't get me wrong those things are still there but they are hidden back in a tiny little room that is now my office/freezer/exercises room. (Ya, I have our two exercises-thingies in there too. Not being used of course).

So when Eric got home from his trip he said to me (before we got in the house). "WOW!! You didn't even change anything. I figured that you would have your hair chopped off or something. You always change something when I leave for long periods of time". Then he opened the door. "HOLY CRAP!! Where is the desk??" I just started laughing. He loves it too. It is a great change. And I honestly feel like I can breath again!

Now, let me think.....hmmm.....what should I do next year???

~What do I do in the wee hours of the morning?~

Head out to the movies of course!! Well, maybe only when the new "Twilight" movies come out anyway.

I am not one for ruining a movie for someone else but I have to say that my favorite line from the movie is when Jacob says to Edward "Face it, I am hotter than you" Truer words were never spoken. At least in the movie. In the book Jacob does not even compare!!

Thanks Girls for such a fun time!!
