Happenings lately

Here are a few things that have been happening around here lately. My parents went to Hawaii and they didn't not take us!! Can you even believe it? I know me either! While in Hawaii they found out about a camera that is at one of the resorts (I think) that feeds to the Web. So they called us and had us go online and talk to them on the phone, while they wave to us on camera. The kids loved it. This is a picture that I took of the computer picture that we saw of them. It didn't turn out all that great but it looks like they had a lot of fun.
Kelsey just keeps getting bigger and bigger. She has passed that little baby look and now looks like a "big" kid in a little body. It is soo cute. She gets to go to nursery in 7 weeks. Yeah!! Not that is is hard to handle at church but it will be nice to sit through a whole Relief Society lesson without having to clean up Cheerios off of the floor or keep her from tearing up the sweet little old ladies paper that drew the short stick and had to sit next to us. She is also starting to talk a lot and copies almost everything that you say. Unless you really want her to or her daddy is watching. Speaking of, she just loves her daddy. He is by far her most favorite person ever. And he still eats up every minute of it. Did you notice the little "heart" in her ponytail? I really tried to do something cute for Valentines day but it didn't work out so great. Oh well, we can try again next year.
Kaiden came home from school the other day with a new trick. Check him out. I think I died laughing the first time he showed me this. It is hilarious. I sure love this kid.
Keira really wanted to be able to do this really cool trick and after a lot of practice was able to get one nostril to work. Hehehehehe. Very Attractive!!

Do you remember those old foam curlers? I used to hate them. Not only because they were miserable to sleep in but because my hair is so thin that it just made for some "frizzy" poofs of hair instead of long gorgeous flowing locks of curly hair. They never worked good on me. My sister on the other hand used to have really thick hair and so when she would pull them out it would make the cutest soft curls that stayed forever. I was always jealous. Still am actually. Anyway, I decided that it was my turn to torture my little one with the same thing so......I bought some foam curlers. Kelsey looked to cute in them, I just had to take a picture.
It actually turned out pretty good. The ones in her ponytails stayed really well and some of the ones on the back of her head fell out during the night. I ended up having to wet down the back of her hair the next morning because some of the curls were really curly and poofy and the other parts were just as straight as could be. I wish that I would have taken an after picture but in the process of trying to get to church on time I totally spaced it. I will remember next time.
For Keira's Valentine hair she wanted a "Heart". So I searched all of the "hair" websites that I knew of and this is what we came up with. She loved it and I thought it turned out pretty cute.

HOW SWEET IS THAT!! I watched my newest little niece Cambrie today while her mom had a dentist appointment. She was playing so good with the toys and then the next thing I knew she was sound asleep on the floor. It was so cute.
Aren't they just so sweet when they are sleeping?? I love sleeping babies. Makes me want another. Ummmmm. Maybe we should wait a little longer.
Anyway, that is the latest and greatest in the life of US!
More to come soon. I am sure!
