Candy Drop

The freedom community does a 24th of July party every year with dinner and fireworks but the thing the kids (and adults) look most forward too is the Candy drop. An air plane flies really low over the ballpark and drops candy for everyone over and over again. It is so exciting. Kaiden & Keira get really excited because Grandpa Heiner is the one that gets to drop the candy. Keira was trying to figure out how she could talk grandpa into dropping the candy right to her. It was pretty cute. We had alot of fun at the party this year. The kids end up playing at the park more than eating dinner. Also Eric's uncle LaDell has a little train that gets pulled behind a four wheeler and the kids cant get enough of that. It is a really fun evening. This year one of the fireworks shot the wrong direction and headed straight into all the cars parked at the ballpark. It exploded under Eric's cousins new truck and made a big whole in the ground. Luckly it didn't do any damage to the truck or anyone else. But it made things really entertaining.
