We went down to Mesquite, NV for our Spring Break last week. We left on Sunday the 6th and came home on Sunday the 13th. We had so much fun and the weather was perfect. On Tuesday we decided to drive down to the Hoover Dam. It has been a really long time since I was there and Eric had never been. I didn't think that the kids would be all that interested but Kaiden loved it. We took the tour and he listened really well to all the things that were said. Then when we got back to camp the next day he was telling everyone about the Dam. He was even able to tell you specifics. I was quite impressed.
We spent the rest of the week just hanging out at camp. We had such a great time. We went into Mesquite and went bowling one night which was really fun. On Saturday the weather was a nice and toasty 85 degrees and not a single bit of wind. It was really warm. We ended up driving down to Overton, which is about a half hour south of Mesquite. They have some really cool red rocks and sand that the kids loved it. Of course Eric spent most of his time on his bike. Along with about 12 other guys. We really enjoyed a week away from the snow, the cold and work.
Let us not forget.....to be there when needed!!
